[Magdalen] testing w/ a new ISP

My journey was from St. Sam's, which became increasingly snarky, to St. Bede's, which started out being kinder and gentler but devolved into the same realm, at which point I gave up for awhile. Then someone told me about Maddie's, which at that point was by invitation or application only.
Mostly we seem to do fairly well, I think... And I certainly value the many friends I've found on here, in cyberspace as well as in person!

(I.e., "I'm right and if you weren't such an ignorant twit you'd recognize that.") The snarl and snark (as I perceived things) made me uncomfortable. There was another (hoping to be kinder/gentler?) whose name I have forgot, but it failed to thrive. And there was/is? a musicians' list that shared Sunday bulletins and aired views on a variety of musical topics.
