I finally got the set-up to work... after many different queries to google,
I guess the right combination of words in the search parameters turned up a
forum that was discussing the question with many posits and a few good
suggestions. I followed their best 'guess' and it worked. Keeping my fingers
crossed, and thanks for listening and suggestions.
I'm so wiped out about trying to fix this myself, I have no illusions of
knowledge gained, just relief that it's in place.
