There was the story about the Michigan relatives in a Dutch Reform Church that 
had never previously decorated nor set up a creche.

And when their new Pastor decided they needed one and asked for a crib, the 
cousins were puzzled but dutifully dismantled (to get through the door) and 
re-assembled a corn crib.
