I do recall with pleasure the several years in a row that I attended a
Christmas Eve breakfast and L&C listening party at the home of the
Rev. Ben Baldus, an ELCA pastor ("with an Anglican oversoul") and many
AGO, ELCA, Episcopalian, and vocalist friends. It usually divided
neatly into the living room for those who wanted to listen closely,
and the family room for those who wanted to chat. All of it was joy
and peace. R.I.P. Ben Baldus with gratitude for his hospitality and
wry humour.
