[Magdalen] Back from Midnight Mass

...and a Merry Christmas to all Pub friends, or at the very least a
peaceful one. We had a lovely service, for once enjoyed hearing the
church's very nice organ being played expertly. Ended up with the
Hallelujah Chorus which only a few seemed to know how to sing. I joined the
lead vocal group, which I usually enjoy but tonight the voice wasn't
reliably there.

Tomorrow, we'll have to wrap all the presents for the extended family,
still haven't got round to doing that yet. Chickens have roasted in the
slow cooker and we'll be roasting Brussels sprouts with Pancetta and baby
corn. I was going to make last year's Popcorn pudding, and still might -
for Boxing Day. It was fun and a hit with the kids!!

Managed two beach walks with Gryffin and Chipo today. It appears
that Gryffin is a "Babe Magnet" which is very pleasing for my son, though
at 13 he's a bit young to take advantage.
