Dear Marilyn, I am so glad that you find it interesting and special!

I meant to also tell you a bit of a side story that I used that cross on a 
chasuble earlier this year too... offered it as one of about 5 cross ideas 
(the others all drawings or photos of previously created liturgical art) and 
the client chose that one. When I told her that it was from the bolt in a 
door at one of the Spanish missions in San Antonio, it turned out that her 
family had ties to that particular mission and her grandmother may have been 
baptized there! Amazing story.
