[Magdalen] Feeling flu-ey. I'm sure it's a passing phase.

Not a milder variety for a great many people here, and sick folks really do need to stay home! My son-in-law was laid low with it, and he had the pediatrician call in a scrip for the twins, just in case, since they are especially susceptible to respiratory ills.
Half of the choir and both LEMs were out at the church on Christmas Eve, and I had received a frantic call that afternoon from the church where I recently served as interim. Their new rector and his family were down with the flu, and they needed someone for Christmas morning. I did that service, and both readers were out sick, so someone stepped in.
The hospitals here are apparently full of flu cases.
