[Magdalen] Who turned the heating off?

Our former diocesan, +John Buchanan, has been active in several dioceses.
Some of us waited until +BRHowe was the diocesan before beginning our
discernment.  No accounting for taste, YMMV, but he was not the most
pastoral bishop; hopefully he's mellowed with the years.
