[Magdalen] Sn*w!

That would be man-made snow this time of year, not the natural kind. It's
actually been a fairly warm Fall.

They do know how to deal with snow here, and main roads are always fine,
once the snow has stopped. It also helps that we live on a state highway.
Don't recall ever having a problem with empty shelves at the grocery store.
Worst problem we had was winter before last, when our plow guy couldn't get
up our driveway after one large storm, and he had to call in reinforcements.
(Our driveway, as you probably remember is ~100 yards long and rises 50'
from the road). So we couldn't get out for a few days. Also, one of our cars
is a 4-wheel drive Subaru, with studded snow tires (at least, that's what
it'll have once the tires get changed).

A couple of days ago I saw a news report of skiers out on the slopes
earlier than the normal start of the season. Get those supplies in
Chad! I know where you live and what the roads are like round there.
You may be able to get to the local shops but what will they have to
sell you?
