Update on mom...
surgery went fine... 3 spots removed, 2 on face and one on leg (which had
gone from this large ping pong sized growth a month ago to practically
nothing, and since I've not really looked it since we were at the
dermatologists, it was rather shocking to not be able to actually locate it
at first when we lifted up her pant leg... the doctor said the biopsy
indicated it was cancer and was such a tumor that might 'go away' leaving no
'bad stuff behind'... so win-win today, and mom is feeling good, but
somewhat unaware of what is actually under the bandages. The two on her
face needed stitches and she ended up looking a bit like the bride of
Frankenstein with stitches running from 1/2 below the corner of her eye, all
the way down to the top of her chin, along her jawbone, before they covered
up afterwards... we have photos.
