[Magdalen] World Prematurity Day

Today is World Prematurity Day, and tomorrow is the 13th birthday (!!) of my twin grandsons Ryan and Joseph. They weighed 1-1/4 and 2-1/2 lbs. respectively, and many of you prayed for them for a long time...

Today they are A-students in 7th grade, Boy Scouts, skiers, youth group members and all-round middle school students. Ryan is legally blind, as you will remember, and has mild CP, but it doesn't slow him down a bit. He's 7th grade rep to Student Council and is in his fourth year of Tae Kwon Doh. Still learning Braille.

Joseph plays baseball and is on the ski team and will be going out for track. Both have wicked senses of humor, and Ryan could give our Brudder punster Jon Egger a run for his money!
Sorry for the grandmotherly bragging, but 13 feels like a big deal, especially after the rocky start!
