Of course it was!  Oh, well, I got the NPR part right.  I rember that it was 
a sort of hot pink, and quitae delicious.

It was Susan Stamberg's mother-in-law's recipe! They did a delightful piece 
on it yesterday with a new twist to the story. Also, several years ago 
someone set the recipe to music, which they posted on their website!
