[Magdalen] Nearer and nearer

comes the day when I set off on my immediately post-retirement break.  
After the service this morning one of the wardens asked me where I would 
be a week hence and I responded that I expected to be in bed as it would 
be 5.30 a.m. where I should be then - in the Westlin Airport Hotel in 
Atlanta.  Having landed at 0030 UK time I am sure I will want my bed as 
soon as I get through arrivals and the transport to the hotel.

For those who are interested in a possible meet along the way my basic 
schedule is

Oct 21    fly into Atlanta and transfer to hotel for overnight
Oct 22    collect rental car and drive to Chattanooga
Oct 25    drive to Summerville SC to meet Ginga and a few of her church 
friends
Oct 26    preside and preach at Good Shepherd, Summerville then drive to 
Charlotte NC (Omni CXharlotte)
Oct 27    hopefully take a bit of the parkway on the way to Lynchburg VA 
(Quality Inn)
Oct 28    head on to Chesapeake (Hampton Inn Norfolk/Chesapeake Area)
Oct 30    South again to Wilmington NC (BW Plus Coastline Inn)
Oct 31    continue on down to Charleston for the weekend (Best Western 
Sweetgrass Inn)
Nov 3    further South to Orlando (Rosen Centre)
Nov 5    Leave FL for Albany GA (Hilton Garden Inn)
Nov 6    evening flight back to UK - departure is 9 p.m. so I have most 
of the afternoon available before I need to return the car and check in.
