Speaking of sheep:

A farmer had some sheep, but his ram took ill and nothing he did seemed to 
help. So he called the vet and asked him what he could do. The vet said, try 
playing some music for him - maybe that will help. So the farmer went and 
set yup a whole stereo system for the poor ram and put on some music. 
However, when he went out to the barn the next morning, the ram was dead. He 
called the vet, who asked, What music did you play?

BTW, when my dear wife was little, she lived on a farm and they had sheep. 
Three were very tame and would follow you wherever you went. Their names 
were Shirley, Goodness and Mercy. OTOH, two others were very contrary and so 
they were named Devices and Desires.
