[Magdalen] Designated Hitter

[Christopher Hart]

There are occasionally pitchers who are good hitters (e.g. Babe Ruth), but
for the most part they suck. It's a waste of time having every ninth batter
suck. And what's wrong with extending the playing career of a good hitter
who may not be agile enough to play a fielding position well?
