[Magdalen] Jonas Salk happy birthday

Today would be Jonas Salk's one-hundredth birthday.

We in Pittsburgh area remember all the kids lining up at the Cathedral of
Learning to get their polio shots.  In time, it would be supplanted by the
oral Sabine vaccine, but at the time, he was the guy who made it possible
for kids to go back to swimming pools without fear.
