Elaine has just been diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia ( a deterioration of the cerebellum that fosters a balancing condition causing her to tremble heavily and walk poorly), has had a seizure in the last week after going to the hospital and is still hospitalized and sedated, at this time. She just turned 50 and the doctors are not exactly sure what has caused this as there are only a few established reasons this happens to people.
