I hadn't put it all together until this morning, but Tigard, OR, though incorporated, is nothing less than Greater Southwest Portland.  So, just now on the phone at his arrival there, I told him that during the next week he must insist on being taken to the Portland City Hall so as to see, in real live person, the Portlandia statue.  He understood entirely.  Watch him forget.
