Allan is correct. There's still unbelievable class bias here.

And it's also political.
To Republicans, the Kennedys are upstarts.
To Democrats, they're demigods.

And I'd like to note that the GOP seems to have changed its
tone recently. I wish the headline had read:
Republicans promise tax relief to the elites.

Not that I like the word "elite" used as a noun, but haven't
they borne the brunt of Republican horror for at least the
last generation?
