My feelings exactly.
 
I suppose the endless attention needs to be tolerated for the greater
good of getting the basic story out to the world.
 
As afar as transsexuals go, I could write a book about the three  friends
I've had (two male to female and one female to male) who made that 
journey.  The unifying factor among the three is that they  are/were
all tough, resilient personalities who just plowed ahead with their  changes
and "to hell what the world thinks."
 
I was happy to see the reconciliation between my friend, Michelle
(was Michael), a gynecologist and ex-Army paratrooper, and her two
sons before she died of a rare lung disorder a few years ago.
