[Magdalen] How do you buy a stove?

Porcelain enamel per the specs.

I grew up with an eight-burner Glenwood range, a black stove with
gray enamel on the front. Four burners and one oven were fueled
by oil, four burners and two ovens fueled by gas. I'm seriously
imprinted on black stoves.

Jay: I keep a pair of white cotton gardening gloves to protect my
paws. They're not thick enough to use as potholders, but they really
help. You can buy asbestos-y gloves at the kitchen supply store,
too.
