[Magdalen] Political stance

Can you unpack that stance for this poor benighted furriner?
Do you mean you admire the displays of anti-govt. behaviour by those
who any other time would be happy to call themselves socialists, or do
you mean you would like to forcibly object to those who at any other
time would be happy to call themselves socialists?
Note: even in Australia, there are many who would embrace socialist
ideals, without wanting to either call themselves socialists, or
indeed, accept any and every socialist proposal.
