And here's what Jennifer had to say about her mom on Saturday, and
about the power of prayer:

"Today I am feeling so incredibly grateful to be spending time with my
parents. My mother Marilyn Brown has crushed every prediction about
her injury and gone from grave condition to serious from months more
of hospitalization to no more than six weeks to "one or two" then "by
the end of the week" to "today" - all in the space of a week! Now we
are looking forward to spending a day seeing beautiful Townsville -
mostly on foot. We rented a walker with a fold down seat to help her
get around independently and we are good to go! She's able to walk,
but tires quickly and we need to make sure that she doesn't fall. She
can't fly until the fifteenth, so we are somewhat stuck here until
then - but it's a lovely place to be. Feeling extra grateful for all
of the prayers and good wishes. There is power in them - Mom felt that
while she was recovering in the hospital."

And the Sunday report was:
"Had a good day. Walking good bit with a walker for a bit of good
stability. Went to church this morning to meet Chaplain that laid
hands on her when she was in chamber on arrival and in bad shape. "


I am also so grateful for all the prayers and connections that went up
from this list.  I can't wait to welcome them all back to the States
later this month, but so grateful that it will be soon, and Marilyn is
already out of the hospital.
