[Magdalen] Another shoulder update

Praying for you, Grace. I've had both shoulders done. The operation is
a breeze, but the rehab is a b***h (rhymes with witch). Anyway, you should
be able to write and use a keyboard and mouse with your right hand while in
the sling. You mustn't do anything that involves lifting the arm, but
limited motion at or below waist level is generally OK. As for driving,
once you're cleared, you can use the slung hand to hold the steering wheel
at the bottom as long as you don't move it upward. The sling (annoying as
it will be) is your friend. It limits your arm movement to what's safe for
the repaired shoulder.
If you own a recliner, plan on sleeping in it. It's much more comfortable
than trying to sleep flat in a bed. I didn't have one the first time, but
did by the second operation. The difference was remarkable. Good luck
and feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
