Tonight I ended a "just friends" relationship that some here might remember has been ongoing for years.  I tried to do it as un-codependently as possible by saying that I'm tired of getting in trouble with her just by breathing, have a good life, Good-bye.  Abrupt, but not unexpected by her.  She's the sort to scream back with accusations of Drama Queen and how it's all my fault, as it always is.  But I really want to mean it this time.  And at least right now (hopefully more after prayer), I'm willing to leave any further emails/calls unanswered, not just for my ultimate good, but hers as well.  Today at work during a low patch I started re-reading C S Lewis's sermon "Weight of Glory".  Thankfully my co-worker was out today, because I couldn't finish, I was crying so hard.

I keep telling myself, "Someday, I won't be sad anymore."
