Here’s an article about younger son Christopher’s recent trip to Turkey. The author is a friend of Christopher’s from college and apparently Christopher “suggested” he write it. I would assume it’s online only and not in the print version of The Nation:

Much of this we already knew and (IIRC) I had already shared with you. I hope the real reason they didn’t plan on going into Syria is *because he promised his parents he wouldn’t*.
