Well, up in the Northeast, we'll be having a week of much warmer than usual 
temps - low 80's in Vermont; 90 or more in Mass. (thankfully I'm back in VT 
tomorrow).

This is an historically appropropriate temperature for Salinas this time of 
year.  But The Difference is, that we're NOT historically supposed to 
experience the same damn thing for months preceding.
