[Magdalen] 81F: The Difference.

Last night was glorious. We had a bottle of champagne (a gift from a
niece for a reason we'd both forgotten) that had been
lying fallow in the bottom of the refrigerator for years and decided to
bring it to a small retirement get-together for a friend.

The sky was clear and a blue reminiscent of an evening gown.
We sat by the pool, made a toast, and ate corn on the cob
and strawberries&blueberries with creme fraiche as the
beneficent face of the moon rose over Boston. An evening
we'll remember for a long time, I think.
