Arthur, nice to meet you. I hope to learn some more about you, when you
have the chance. I also hope this "missing kidney" info was confirmed by a
specialist -- I'm not sure I'd trust the opinion of a resident (do M.D.s
really administer sonograms? I thought they were done by some sort of med
tech and turned over to MDs for interpretation, as mammograms usually
are). This is pretty dramatic and drastic, and I'd want to know for sure!
The "waking up in a bathtub full of ice" reference from James O was an
"urban internet legend" about people being abducted and having kidneys
stolen for sale on the black market -- a veiled joke.
