Certainly. On those rare occasions when I've forgotten my envelope, I
always put cash in the plate.

I'm afraid I'll never adjust to the plastic mode of contributions
(especially after one charity doubled my contribution and, when I called to
ask why, told me they knew I meant to pledge that amount. Psychic, I guess.)

These people weren't pledgers, they were tourists.
