We heard that reported on NPR (on our way back from the Marblehead
Christmas Walk). Apparently the apartment had already been processed and
released by the FBI, but still. I did hear one of the reporters advising
her colleagues not to show images of the surviving child.

It's California. They have a different sense of boundaries there. The
landlord has none whatsoever, apparently.
