I didn't see the interview, but I began to suspect a day or so after the
massacre that she radicalized him, rather than the other way around. He
seemed, by all accounts, to be a rather quiet, shy, and devout young man.
Stories about his parents' marriage which came out later are also rather
instructive, as his father appears to be a drinker and at least
verbally/emotionally, if not physically, abusive. I wonder if perhaps he
might have been bullied, or at least felt he was, at work, and that's why
that was chosen. It also struck me that, since they returned with a car
full of explosives and weapons, that might have been a trial run and they
had something else in mind.

I know, hindsight is 20/20.
