[Magdalen] Prayer Request

Please, if you would, lift up a prayer for Jeff Sonafelt, the pastor of the
Lutheran church I attend much of the time, and his wife Tracy. Tracy's mom,
Peggy Lastor, moved up here to live near them this past summer after it was
determined she was no longer safe living by herself with no family nearby.
Over the last couple of months she had declined visibly, and she died this
past Wednesday evening after a short spell in the hospital. Jeff looked
pretty worn out this morning, and Tracy, who has lost not only her mother
but also within the last month an aunt she was particularly close to, was
not in church. It is hard to lose your mom at any age, but particularly at
this time of year.
