That is certainly Very Good Advice.  I knew somebody who was a diabetic 
and had lost all his toes, and parts of his feet.  He went to the 
hospital once and amputation was suggested as the best course of 
action.  He went to another hospital for a second opinion and a less 
drastic course of action ensued.
