I should be understood that Ascension, Chicago, is not just some  other
neighborhood parish.  It's really the flagship Anglocatholic parish  for the
entire Midwest USA.  The parish is looked upon as THE way things  should
be done liturgically and musically.  Chosing another parish is slim  
picken's.

When I first arrived in Pennsylvania, I was unused to so many Asian  accents
in the medical field.  I attended a meeting then when one staff  physician 
after
another complained "We cannot win!."  This was repeated over and  over
until I finally figured out that these Asian staff persons were saying,  "We
cannot wean."   They were referring to the necessity to get  patients off
ventilators.
