[Magdalen] Whither weather.

And maybe you weather techies (if we have any) can explain something on that NWS link for me.  It correctly identifies our main weather station as being at the municipal airport (2nd floor, right over the diner), but locationally as 2 miles southwest of Salinas.  It's actually two miles southEAST of city center, not west.  What probably very obvious thing am I missing?
