[Magdalen] Merry Christmas

I can never feel God's presence in the midst of suffering, but I go on faith, as you do, Jim. And when the suffering is done (but not before!) I can see how God was invisible to me not from distance but from closeness.

This is what deep faith in God is about: the Cloud of Desolate Unknowing, where belief is still okay but a sense of God's love is gone.

Prayers for you, Marcy, and Matthew.

Hugs,
Molly
