There used to be published a guide to London C of E parishes that
included a table showing, for each parish, whether candles were on the
altar, whether they were lighted or not (some had the candles but
never lighted them, as that crossed a line, apparently), whether
certain bits of the service were chanted, whether "Mass" was used as a
term for the Communion service, various details about vestments, etc.
If that sort of guide were needed today, I'm sure someone would make
it an iOS app. :) One could then pick a parish that was
just.....right. (Not that this is a good thing.)
