[Magdalen] What are we reading?

I grew up spelling it storey, also, so it's one of those Olde New
England spellings, perhaps. Besides, it's a good editorial call.
If it were called The Seven Story Mountain, wouldn't people
be expecting seven stories?

Merton was schooled in France or Switzerland, IIRC. While I
admire his later work, I will never be a fan.
