[Magdalen] Bad news re my Friend.

Prayers, please.  In a "Friday Night News Dump"-style email from her employer's (local County hospital) HR dept late yesterday afternoon, she was informed that her medical leave of absence has been denied, and that her cost for continued medical/dental/vision insurance (family coverage) will be $2,000+/mo.  Employer appears to have entered into the holding pattern wherein it is hoping she will resign under the pressure, but which she of course will not.
