In December on the second anniversary of my aortic aneurism, my surgeon
ordered a set of x-rays. I'd be surprised if he didn't review his own
handiwork.
A bit later, my neurologist ordered MRI's of my upper back based on a
tentative diagnosis of a pinch of the upper (cervical?) spine. The report
was that my spine was normal. I assume the neurologist accepted the finding
without further ado, but I realy don't know in either case.
I am surprised that some radiologists make medical diagnoses. I'd think
they'd be more sensitive to malpractice suits than that.
