We were luckier up the mountain. We only had about 6" too many. It's
mostly shoveled out now.

I had planned to go to liturgy Saturday 10 am, then a funeral at 12:30 pm.
The Saturday of the Souls liturgy was canceled, however. The funeral was
postponed until next Wednesday at noon. Our Sunday liturgy and Cheesefare
Luncheon were also canceled today and also Wednesday evening Presanctified
Liturgy (due to inability to presanctify today). We are changing our menu
for the luncheon which we will have on March 1 (no cheese, milk, eggs or
fish during Great Lent which starts tomorrow). So---I am freezing the
three packages of halloumi cheese until after Pascha and substituting
artichoke hearts and palm hearts to go with my kalamata olives.

We went to dinner in Winchester Friday evening (invited by daughter Beth
and her boyfriend George) and George's mother Brenda came also. It turns
out that the reason they invited us was to announce that they are engaged!!
They plan to marry probably in August 2016. Beth will be entering an M.A.
program in History this fall at WVU. George plans to join her in
Morgantown and get a job in that area.
