A happy New Year and eighth day of Christmas! Last night I was upstairs and 
realized it was midnight, so I came down to celebrate with Lee and found her 
bringing more wood in for the woodstove. I had planned on drinking a bottle 
of (hard) cider I found in the fridge, but went to bed instead. Such is the 
exciting world of the retired!

Right now Lee is watching the Mummer's Parade streaming on the internet (she 
grew up outside Philadelphia), and I am mostly relaxing.
