My daughter also dictates her texts, and they magically appear as words on a screen--often with some very funny mistakes, though, depending on what Siri has "heard."
The problem is that she thinks it's OK to do this while she's driving, since she's "hands-free." Same with talking on the phone. It's totally inconsistent with her usually very safety-conscious self.
It occurs to me just now that I could say I won't ride with her if she's going to be using the phone. Ugh......
