[Magdalen] shattered iPhone screen advice...

I was never more surprised when I dropped my Nokia Lumia (abt 3months old) on to our bluestone gravel (ie basalt gravel!) drive. Before I had owned the thing for half an hour, I had invested in a protective plastic screen. Nearly a year later, that screen still has the two small holes received on that occasion, still the same size, but the gorilla glass is still intact. I also invested in an extra battery, because this model has a very fine camera. The case has a bump at one end that makes the whole thing easier to grab hold of - most of the time! It also has a wrist strap as it is too big for my pockets. But I do like my CAMERAphone, even if it does run on Windows<sigh>.
