The local Procathedral, Saint Stephen's, Wilkes-Barre, PA, is much more
centrally located for the Diocese of Bethlehem than is the Cathedral of the
Holy Nativity in Bethlehem, and thus St. Stephen's has had more than its
share of Diocesan Annual Conventions.

The only contact I have had with this ecclesial governing body is the
grand Pontifical Eucharist the opening night (usually a Friday). The
O/C and choir forces at St. Stephen's repeatedly fuss over the choral
music for this Liturgy, but much of it is always literally for naught since
the convention attendees make so much noise, particularly just before
the service begins, but also during such as the Offertory. Think: Wild
and wooly passing of the Peace racket on steroids for these times.
