I mentioned elsewhere that David Hurd was a favorite of the late  Mason
Martens (the colorful consultant in plainsong for TEC '82 Hymnal).
He had little good to say for most of the rest of the contributors to  that
hymnal.
 
I think approval by Mason Martens is tantamount to canonization!
 
I think Mason would simply not believe what has happened to GTS.
 
Does the Dean get by unscathed by all the troubles?
