[Magdalen] Here We Go Again.

I am reminded of a Wednesday evening eucharist in my former parish, on a
night where attendance was low: I believe it was only the rector,
Heather, and myself. And she and I could see what was about to happen a
word or two ahead. The rector was going to follow the letter of the book
and say "him;" Heather was going to make the change she's made for years
and say "God;" and I was going to make the change that became reflex
while using the Book of Alternative Services in Canada, and say "our."
Some liturgists may have been annoyed, but I think God is big enough to
understand what we all meant.
