Well - this is amazing...I went to the post office to see what might be
behind a "foreign parcel" notice that I'd managed to rescue from Griffyn
(deadly enemy of the postman and all his works).

And wonder of wonders, it is a LISTGIVE from Marilyn Cepeda!!

Posted, I hasten to add, very decently during the Twelve Days of Christmas.
I wonder where it's been and what adventures it's had around the world?

Anyway, thank you so much Marilyn for a beautiful embroidered linen towel
and the most attractively presented cookbook, in support of PEO and women's
education.

I've paged through "Cooking with PEO" and can't wait to try some of these
recipes - some old favourites but also some very unusual things (at least
to me).

So what a lovely surprise in the middle of a chilly wintry spell we've been
having. It's the right weather for Christmas presents at any rate!
