[Magdalen] yet another prayer request

This time for my friend Polly and her husband Larry. Larry has severe
degenerative disc disease, C5 and C6, and is in constant pain. He is doing
physical therapy and is responding slowly, and his doctor is looking at
what else might be done. As if that weren't enough, last week he was
diagnosed with bladder cancer. They are awaiting the results of a CT scan
to see how little or how bad it is. Larry is a survivor of a very
aggressive form of prostate cancer already, so this does not bode well. It
is in his family and I believe his father and at least one brother died of
it. Your prayers are requested. Polly says it feels like "the slow
unraveling, one thread at a time."
